Seriously the best birthday ever. I’m so, so thankful for my friends, the ability to get out and be active, and the incredible weather we had this weekend. :)

This weekend was the perfect escape. Away from stresses, finances, school and work. Im so thankful for this beautiful getaway. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. I just have to get through this work week, get ahead in my classes and then it’s time for a long weekend of fun-filled celebrations. And then an even shorter week until our week long vacation. I’m so excited for the road trip, the time alone with Nelson, the beach, exploring both Charleston’s And Nelson’s family’s history. In not so great news, my Bella has an awful ear infection. So bad that her ear drum almost burst. I had no ideas he was even hurt, let alone in excruciating pain. I feel so awful. I don’t know how I will handle when any of my real children get hurt or sick, I’ve been a mess over this. She is staying with my mom all week so that she doesn’t have to be kenneled up every day. I miss her so much. My whole routine is out of whack. I’m so used to having her with me at night and waking up with her in the morning. I know she’s in good hands and she’s going to be just fine, I just hate that I’m not with her while she is in so much pain.
